Mango season is back again! Make this super tasty, silky soft and refreshing, classic Italian dessert mango panna cotta in this Eid and wow your guests! 😃

A great tropical delight! So easy to make! Taste it once and you’re surely gonna in love with it forever! 😉

Ingredients:

For the cream mixture:

▪️ 2 cups heavy whipping cream
▪️ 1/2 cup whole milk
▪️ 1 tbsp powdered milk
▪️ 1/4 cup sugar
▪️ Pinch of salt
▪️ 2 tsp unflavored gelatin
▪️ 2 tbsp water
▪️ 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

For the mango puree:

▪️ 1.5 cup cubed mango
▪️ 4 tbsp condensed milk/ as much needed for sweetening
▪️ Pinch of salt
▪️ 1.5 tsp unflavored gelatin
▪️ 1.5 tbsp water

Directions:

▪️ In a saucepan, mix heavy whipping cream with milk, powdered milk, sugar and salt over medium heat. Stir for several minutes until everything is dissolved!
Now turn off the heat and let it cool down to room temperature.

▪️ In the meantime, dissolve unflavored gelatin into the water. Then heat it up in the microwave oven for 20-30 seconds. Cool it down a bit.
Pour the warm gelatin into the cream mixture. Mix well!

▪️ Add vanilla essence and mix well.

▪️ Now transfer the mixture into the glass of your choice and let it set in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

▪️ Prepare the mango mixture now! For that, put the mango cubes in the blender. Add condensed milk and salt! Blend until smooth!

▪️ You may strain the puree for an even finer texture.

▪️ Dissolve more gelatin into the water and also heat that up in the microwave oven for 20-30 seconds. Cool it down a bit.
Then mix the gelatin and the puree together!

▪️ Pour the puree on top of the panna cotta. And let it set in the refrigerator for two more hours.

▪️ While serving, top with some chopped mango pieces, pistachios, mint leaves and saffron!
Sprinkling some saffron will make it even yummier!

Notes:

▪️ Be careful while adding the gelatin! An excessive amount, more than what is suggested in the recipe, might result in chewy and gummy texture!
